Airlines across the globe, including Air Canada, have begun suspending flights to and from China, as the coronavirus that first erupted a month ago continues to spread.
Canada now has three cases, two in Toronto and one in B-C.
However, none are in life-threatening condition.
The virus appears to be far less lethal than SARS, but there is a concern at its’ rapid rate of expansion.
In China so far, 132 people are reported dead…with the number of cases up sharply to almost six thousand.
Meanwhile, health units continue to maintain a high state of vigilance as does the World Health Organization.
